The Swingaway Pro is a great piece of equipment with nice tubing and hardware, but after only a week, the bungee cords are showing wear or completely failing.
A few suggestions:
1. Use a single gauge of bungee cord. The smaller gauge bungee cord (which is only used in one spot) failed within two days. I replaced it with thicker bungee cord, and it's looking fine.
2. Replace the center-bottom eyelet screw with another roller-type mechanism. The bungee cord is wearing very quickly because of the friction caused by this eyelet. Ours will fail soon (after only 2 weeks).
3. (To the manufacturer, not BaseballSavings): Lower the shipping and handling costs for replacement parts. The cost of the parts themselves is reasonable, but the S&H is way too high.
In spite of the lack of durability (which is to be expected with bungee-based equipment), the Swingaway is a great tool. If you don't throw your hands at the ball, it'll let you know. It rebounds very quickly, and you can get a lot of swings in a short time. Great workout for Dad, too.
Pros: High quality, well-designed
Cons: Not durable

The instructions were easy to follow and went together very quickly. Both boys have been using it daily and love it. Makes "Tee" practice much easier and quicker and more efficient. Would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a way to get a lot of swings in no matter the time of year or the weather conditions.
Pros: High quality

- Been in use for ~3 months, Used almost daily, 3 LLers, 1 adult
-Good reset time on ball, ~3 seconds
-Using it indoor (in living room); easy on the ears with a wood bat
-Adults and kids using it; adjustable ball height is quick and easy
-Hardware thus far is very durable; tubes and plastic joints
-Ball looks a little deformed (flat spot); mostly wood bats used), ball is rotated every now and then to distribute impact
-Users can see ball path to verify quality of the hit.
-Green mat is not used, but handy to show players hitting zones.
-CON-Rebounding net started to tear after 2nd day. At the fastening point. 3 more connecting points have torn since. Has not impacted the hitting function, but would probably allow for more connecting point failures if used as a rebounder. I have not contacted company yet to see about replacement or if this is a common issue.
-NOTE- If the ball is not struck and the bungees are hit, there is some possibility that the bat will get the cord wrapped up and the ball could hit you. One LLer completely missed the ball and got it in the thigh. Nothing serious,. Focus on hitting thru the ball
-I believe that this beast (it is large) can be transportable, but have not taken the time to try to fold it and move it around. With all the bungee and the net material, I think this is best used indoors, and not left out to the elements.
Pros: quick work out
Cons: net failure
